This is the second single from dances for Different Bodies, my sonic tribute to disability culture sponsored in part by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events’ Individual Artist Program.

As disabled people, and people in general, we are fed images and rules about how we should carry ourselves starting from a very young age. Many times, the key to our growth is letting go of these prescribed scripts for life and looking within to best determine our own path and place in our community.
